Ok, I honestly don’t like to read about what Jon Hamm is up to because I still haven’t exhausted the “dogs riding bicycles” Google Image search, so I really don’t have time HOWEVER I have noticed a few things by tracking the Jon Hamm tag on Tumblr and occasionally remembering to check it:
- Jon Hamm was recently the cover boy of Esquire UK, and he totally nailed it - the pic in this post is one of several works of art featured alongside the article. I originally didn’t even know how to post the photoshoot because it honestly just felt like he was pandering to this blog. Emotions With Jon Hamm is that important, ya know.
- Jon Hamm participated in the Team Nerdist vs. Team Mad Men celebrity bowling series, and it’s a great watch if you’re into white dudes ironically being competitive about shit like bowling and bro-ing out. Jon Hamm made a play-doh dick and got a strike while being confronted about his role as “handsome guy #2” in an episode of Ally McBeal, which makes me wonder who “handsome guy #1” is and if he’s single????
- I have not seen the live episode of 30 Rock (does anyone want to buy me a TV?) yet, but I know that Jon Hamm was in it and it is the first episode of 30 Rock I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback about in years, sooo I think it’s worth a looksie! Plus, Kristin Schaal is everything. On Hulu tomorrow, I guess?
-Jon Hamm insulted the Kardashians a while back, and it was annoying because it had nothing to do with him making weird faces, but people were still talking about it.
She is fantastic.

I so wish I could make that pillow.
Thank you, as always, for your very kind emails, which I promise to catch up on now that my semester is over.
Here’s some fun stuff:
• Some of the students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (full disclosure: where I currently attend and teach) made a feminist-focused blog in the style of…
